Welcome to LithiumSafe Fire. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and the purchase of products through our online store. By accessing or using our site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Overview
LithiumSafe Fire specializes in fire extinguishers and related safety products. Some of our items, such as fire extinguishers, are classified as dangerous goods and are subject to special handling and shipping regulations.
2. Product Use & Safety
- Our products must be used in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and manufacturer instructions.
- You are responsible for ensuring products are suitable for your intended use and installed by qualified personnel, if applicable.
3. Ordering & Payment
- All prices are listed in CAD and are subject to change without notice.
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to product availability, errors in pricing, or suspected fraud.
4. Shipping & Handling
- We ship to select locations where dangerous goods can legally be transported.
- Shipping times are estimates and not guarantees. Delays due to carrier or regulatory inspections are beyond our control.
- Customer is responsible for providing accurate shipping information. Incorrect addresses may result in additional charges or delivery failure.
5. Returns & Refunds
Please refer to our Return & Refund Policy for detailed information. Due to the hazardous nature of some of our products, strict return timelines and conditions apply.
6. Limitation of Liability
LithiumSafe Fire shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or misuse of our products. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the purchase price of the product in question.
### Fire Extinguisher Terms of Sale – Important Notice
1. **Non-Certified Units**
The fire extinguishers sold are NOT certified for use. They are sold “as-is” for purchase only.
2. **Required Inspection and Tagging**
The buyer must have each unit inspected and tagged by a certified fire protection technician
in accordance with NFPA 10 and the Ontario Fire Code BEFORE installation or use.
3. **Assumption of Risk**
The buyer assumes ALL responsibility and liability for the extinguishers until inspection and
certification are completed. The seller is not liable for any damages, injuries, or regulatory
issues arising from use of units prior to inspection.
4. **Acknowledgment**
By purchasing, the buyer confirms they understand and agree to these terms.
